ESTIMATES FOR GALVANIZED LIGHT GAUGE FRAMING SYSTEMS
Light gauge galvanized steel framing estimates will include all the light gauge steel frame components necessary to complete the erection of the metal framing of your building that is engineered to be in code for your global location.
Steel framing estimates typically consists of following: exterior and interior wall materials (studs, channels, etc.), roof truss materials, floor joists (if applicable), permanent bracing material, sub-fascia material, valley and ridge caps, strapping materials, connection clips, tie-downs and anchor bolts, various types of fasteners; nails and screws.
DRY-IN ESTIMATES (Estimates for steel framing + materials required to cover up the framing with sub-surface materials)
This estimate includes the items required to protect the framing so that workers may continue regardless of the weather condition. This portion of the estimate will include materials such as sub-flooring (also called decking), exterior sheathing (also called sub-straits, cladding) vapor barrier (also called housewrap, Tyveck, etc), sub roofing (also called roof decking), windows, exterior doors, door hardware, locks and keys, garage door if applicable, ventilation accessories, and other regionally recommended items.
ESTIMATES FOR MATERIAL PACKAGES FOR SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION
The materials lists under this category will show estimated cost for Light Gauge steel framing package, all the dry-in materials group and interior paneling and trim, interior doors, all door hardware and locks, insulation materials for walls and deck areas, exterior siding, trim and accessories, roof finishing materials (shingles, metal all clay roofing) plumbing items, paint and other materials.
For areas such as kitchens and baths, or other specialty items, we will recommend a budget. This budget can be reduced or increased based on the customer selections. These estimates include everything except the items which can only be obtained local to the job site.
Costs estimated for each category will include several materials to complete the package, including but not limited to glues, caulking, fasteners, shims, and wood products, etc.
In order for us to be able to give you realistic steel framing estimates and accurate quotes, we require that you provide us with the following:
- Name, address and location of your company
- Your company’s biography and experience in the construction industry
- The purpose statement of the company, your name and your position with the company
- The web-site address of your company
- A completed set of architectural drawings in AutoCAD format. (Estimate requests should indicate requested type of roofing, siding, windows, doors, trim, casings, chair rail, crown molding, window sills, hardware color, flooring, and other desired items for realistic estimates)
Inquiries not accompanied with the aforementioned information will first be charged $300 that will be applied to the purchase price.
